Tossacoin.com by Zrzutka.pl – help Poles aid Ukraine. #HelpForUkraine #MessageForPutin

The fundraiser will benefit more than 50 foundations that keep a register of what is currently needed by refugees and people remaining in Ukrainian territory under attack. EUR 700k had already been donated by March 15th. As one of the co-organisers of the fundraiser, Tossacoin.com charges no commission and donates 100% of the proceeds to the beneficiaries. The theme of the campaign is #HelpForUkraine #MessageForPutin.

Every day, we all experience a whole range of emotions related to the war, from anger to fear about the future. The closer we are to the border with Ukraine, the stronger the emotions; still, the whole world must know that the tragedy of war will affect, to a greater or lesser extent, the entire international community. This is why we not only have launched a transparent fundraiser but also want to let everyone express their emotions and thoughts in messages they can send along with donations to the #HelpForUkraine #MessageForPutin campaign conducted by Tossacoin.com. We will print out the messages and drop them off at Russian politicians’ doors because we believe that every gesture of defiance against war matters. Personally, I’d like to deliver the first message: End the war! - said Tomasz Chołast, the co-founder of the Zrzutka.pl (Tossacoin.com) crowdfunding platform.

Tens of thousands of Ukrainian refugees come to Poland every day. In under three weeks since the war started, about 1.8 million people have come here from Ukraine, most of them women and children. Since the beginning, Poles have been supporting their neighbours 24 hours a day, arranging private transfers from the border, sending medical and humanitarian aid and helping at temporary refugee reception centres. Many people seek support by holding private collections of petrol or medicines for Ukrainians.

We strongly call on the whole world to speak up – do not stand idly by and help Ukrainians in this cruel war. Every gesture counts. By UN estimates, Poland will receive about 4 million refugees, some of whom will perhaps have no home to go back to and will settle here permanently. Without international help, we alone won’t be able to help them start a new life -  Chołast added.
